Hob’s Lane 1 & 2
Our latest Kickstarter for Hob’s Lane 1 & 2 is continuing strongly, with only 5 days left on the clock. If you’d like to check out the book, use the button below.
Clodagh 2
Whilst I was driving around the UK, Clodagh 2 arrived in all it’s fabulousity. I’ve started stuffing envelopes and will be posting the first rewards on Monday.
Clodagh 3 is drawn and ready to be lettered. This will come to Kickstarter in the coming months.
System Error 2
After the amazing System Error 1 (available on the website), we are now getting ready for releasing issue 2, and it’s just as fantastic as the first! The cover is shown below.
Like issue 1, issue 2 will not be coming to Kickstarter, so if you’d like to get your hands on it, take out one of our subscriptions and be the first to read the amazing adventure!
Subscriptions also come at a discount, so everything’s cheaper!
Innsmouth: The Stolen Child
Okay, so this might be more exciting to 12 year-old me, but Waterstones put in a big order in for Innsmouth: The Stolen Child, which should mean they’ll be appearing in shops near you. In fact, the Edinburgh Waterstones already has it in. I haven’t had time to take a photo yet, but rest-assured I will!
What a time to be alive.
London Book Fair
I managed to get down to visit the London Book Fair on Tuesday. I hadn’t been before, and it was really just so I could get the measure of it. It was big.
Hopefully, next year I can return and make use of all the networking/business that was going on!
Seventh Sister
I managed to complete issue 2 script for Seventh Sister, a comic which I want to pitch to publishers. It turns out I’m the sort of person who needs to write the whole arc before I realise what’s going on, so it makes the process slightly slower. Suffice to say I’m really enjoying it.
Initially, Seventh Sister was going to be a Hexes 5-issue story, and it still might be, if no-one’s interested!
Gone 4
I was hoping to do the Kickstarter for The Shadow Over Innsmouth Part 3 next, but it makes more sense to do Gone 4, as it’s ready, and it’ll give us more time to complete the Innsmouth book.
I don’t like running a Kickstarter campaign for a comic that’s not completely finished, it’s a recipe for stress in the longer run.
The coming week…
The major thing in the coming week is the delivery to me of The Thing on the Doorstep Part 1, which is scheduled for Thursday.
Oh, and chocolate eggs, since it’s that time of year!
Speak soon and stay safe,
Simon
