Hi,

Thank you for reading and taking part in Derilion: Assassination - and if you didn’t have time, you can jump in now and make your voice heard!

Want to read everything that’s gone before?

  1. Background and first choice is here.

  2. Second choice is here.

Votes were cast and 57% chose for Derilion to jump up, shield ready to face the attacker who’d just sent a destructive spell through the door to her room.

Let’s find out what happens next…

Choice Three

Derilion jumped up, Volkov in front of her. There was no-one visible in either the room or the hallway, and she was certain she now heard footsteps running away.

Their retreat afforded the Lightbringer some much needed seconds to think. Her first thoughts turned to the elf, Strister, who'd told her about the Ochil Tree portal. Was someone trying to stop it being reopened? If so, why?

Her attacker clearly had magic, so perhaps they lived in the town. Why was trying to kill her easier than simply talking to her?

Then again, if it wasn't to do with the portal, it meant someone was either targeting her on purpose, or it was a case of mistaken identity. Perhaps if she could catch up with the attacker, she could question them further.

Whatever the reason, she needed to act now.

Also, I wanted to get your input on how often you’d like to make the choices. I’m promising nothing, but was interested to find out. Choose one option below:

Can’t wait to see you choose! As always, if you know someone who’d like to join in, forward this email to them - the more the merrier.

Speak soon and stay safe!

Simon
